Hopefully a simple fix but we'll see.

I just received a new MicroLogix 1400 L1766-L32BWAA Series C

In Rslogix500 on the Controller Properties window it does not list a "series C" of this Micrologix, only a Series A and Series B. How do I get the correct series to show up?

The newest is V11, series C I think just came out this year so unless your running a newer version only A and B will be your options.... you can download the newest version if you have a contract with Rockwell

Have you tried B and see if you can go online? it may work

Maybe that the series C is to new?... try using series B, I think its just updating the Ethernet port so it may not even matter, I still have some series B that I need to use up before I start using the C

Series C is new hardware from about June 2017. It is functionally compatible with Series B.

RA Knowledgebase Article 1042323 (access level: Everyone) addresses the compatibility of the Series C hardware, and why there is not a Series C selection in RSLogix 500.

My reading of that article is that you define the controller in your RSLogix 500 project as a Series B controller, and the program should load into the controller with no problem.

Yep, I always select B and everything works. Never understood why they don't make a "C" option to select in RSLogix 500... would certainly help with the confusion!
