We have a Quantum upgraded from MODICON 984 with 1400 DI and 1040 DO (all 800 I/O). When we set program to free scan, fault came out.
The free run cycle time was 40mS. Fault only disappeared when CONSTANT SWEEP mode was set and the TARGET SCAN TIME had to be set to 150mS or more.
Question:
1. Is there any way to know the I/O scan time?
2. What factors affect the I/O scan time?
Thank you for your help.
