Hi,

Is it possible to write tag using MSG in two diffirent controllers in separated networks using Dual-IP? I need to do something like that:

1. My PLC L320ERM[10.38.101.1(SUB:255.255.0.0)] Port 1 --> L350ERM[10.38.100.1]
2. My PLC L320ERM[192.168.2.1(SUB:255.255.0.0)] Port 2 --> 1768-L45[192.168.1.100]

So far I am using Linear/DLR configuration and connection no.1 is working. Now I need to add second connection.

Another problem is, when I try to add L45 CPU in ethernet tree I cannot find it (probably very old?)

You don’t need an object in the tree to message it. Since you’re in dual IP mode, off the top of my head, the message path for the A1 port would be “3, 10.38.100.1“. If you use A2, it’s “4, 192.168.1.100“.

In DLR mode, you’d also be issuing messages containing different IPs, but same interface number. Identical format to how messages would be sent using a 5370:
- “2, 10.38.100.1”
- “2, 192.168.1.100”

A route needs to exist between networks.
