I have a micrologix 1100 and a LVDT displacement sensor.

The sensor can measure from 0 to 2in. It has 0 to 10V output and I was going to use it on the analog input of the micrologix.

Now I need a resolution of .001 of an inch. This will not give me enough resolution, correct?

2/1024 = .00195. It will give me resolution of .002 of an inch, correct?

What would be the easiest way to get the resolution that I need?

Thanks
