Hello! I have an old presco machine that was used to inspect preforms for the bottle making industry. I want to use all the mechanics of the machine but scrap the sofware and camera.

I need a system (somewhat cheap less than 100k) that will take pictures of the cavity numbers and do inspections at the same time. the camera would have to take a 360deg. picture to accomplish this (4pics put together)

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Cognex (now DVT) works very well. I have also seen some Sick vision systems. I have seen some Keyence system demos and they look good as well.

I was looking into the cognex system, we currently use dvt software to do bottle inspections.
