You could go to amazon.com a purchase a Hans Berger Simatic book. The book is a pretty good as a reference book.


Also www.ad.siemens.com has info on all of the simatic products


It would also help if you knew someone that is a S7 Guru. There will be a load of problems that you will run into while commissioning a S7-300/400 PLC.
