Anyone know of a good TOF relay I can use to catch a high speed 24vdc (~100ms) and signal a 120vac input module?

This is a pig that goes through a 2" product line and on the return especially it shoots by and only gives about a 100ms pulse. This is NOT a repeating pulse. Just see's it once on the way over to the hold tank and then once on the return back. Whole process take about 10 minutes and is only used at the end of the day.

Unfortunately the PLC (AB SLC 5/05) only has 120vac inputs and no spare slots.

Thanks, Jack.

See if the setup will allow 2 or 3 more proxy's spaced along an area that wired together would give you a 300 - 400ms signal. If the PLC can't see that pulse then any 24V TOF timer should react to it and give the PLC a good, readable pulse.

I think the minimum input pulse for the 700-FE is 30 milliseconds, so they should do the job with an ordinary Time-Off Delay selection.

I agree that this is an application for a timing relay, not necessarily a higher performance "pulse stretcher".
