Chaps,

I have an Omron NQ5-SQ000-B HMI, and I need to back up the application, firmware and fonts to a memory stick so I can program our spare unit.

My question is: how do you stop an application from running to enable access to the memory stick menus? The manual says to set system bit S037 to 1. Is this done through CX-Programmer connected to the PLC or through NQ-Designer connected to the HMI?

The reason I'm using a memory stick and not the NQ-Designer is that the firmware version of the HMI is 2.2 and our software downloads firmware 2.23, which appears to stop the RS485 capability of the coms port...

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for your reply. I've read the Quick Start manual, but I still have no idea where to set system bit S037 to 1 to force a memory stick read. I've looked through all the menus on NQ Designer and CX Developer with no success... :(
