Panelview 550 not communication with 5/05

Hello,
We replaced an AB 5/03 with a 5/05. We have a Panelview 550 which was communicating with the 5/03 using a DH485. The DH485 cable went to a AIC module and then to the 5/03. Tell me this please, now that we have the 5/05 on ethernet, what must I do to to get communications back between the 5/05 and panelview? The panelview is basically not functioning. I assume I need another style of module to make this possible. I am trying to recovery the panelview program using a 16K data card, but it is telling me it needs to be formatted. I think I need a 256 data card instead? We could possible install a panelview 600 since we have one on hand. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What is the complete catalog number of your Panelview?

You can use the serial port on the SLC5/05 (configured for DH485) to communicate with the PV. With the above info someone can tell you the proper cables to use.

I think you will need to set up Ch. 0 on the 5/05 for DH-485 and use an AIC.

What model is your PV 550? and the 600?

Configure the SLC5/05's serial port for DH485, same baud rate as your PV with a different node address.
