panelview not seeing finger but it sees a pen

Ok we have a 600 panelview plus color and half the screen is not seeing my finger but it will see your pen this is a problem that just started is there anything that can be done to it or will it just need replaced

From config menu, Terminal Settings > Input Devices > Touch Screen > Calibrate

Sounds like you have a bad screen, but it's easy enough to try the calibration
