Password for setting Setpoint for a controller

we r using siemens pcs7 v7.1 i want to lock the setpoint value in PID block icon in wincc, not in program...please reply

You will have to create a list of users in WinCC, at least with two levels.

Then on the button or field you press to change the value of the PID, you change the security properties to the second level of security.

You will also have to create a login/logout button, to able to change between the two levels

i ve the PID block icon in wincc.. when i open during runtime it goes to its corresponding faceplate..from there v have to give setpoint...how to lock that one?
