Hi Gurus,

After reading this forum and picking up may useful tips, I'd value some advice for PC to 2 different PLCs data transfer.
The operation is quite simple, one of four codes to be sent from a PC in a production line PLCs at the next 2 stages to determine the type of operations required.

PLCs are Allen Bradley Micrologix 1500s, already using Ethernet for it's Panelview comms and Devicenet for other data operations. The PC would usually have no Rockwell software installed. So a VB6 program will be used.

I already have an RS232 to Devicenet module spare.

I have a few ideas about sending serial data and sharing it between the PLCs by linking the Devicenet Networks but I'd really like to configure the Ethernet modules if possibles.

Any suggestions where to start or for recommended reading?
