Hi everyone!
We are using Moeller PS416 PLC with PC HMI based on Wonderware Intouch 7.0 on Windows NT Workstation 4.0. The protocol that we are using is the phased-out Profibus-FMS with applicom interface card and application v3.4 using DDE.
I recently upgraded the whole HMI system with Intouch 9.5 and applicom v3.6 to Windows XP, I am having difficulty communicating the runtime application with the PLC as its not fetching the tags at all, by diagnosing the FMS, I found that while polling the PLC for data, the DDE protocol was getting error messages like 'status12' on ReadWait utility of applicom. The issue might be with platform as applicom might not be supported on Windows XP, though the applicom tech support says that both the card (PCI-1500-PFB) and v3.6 support Windows XP.
Anyone to help..??
