Hi,

I am looking to install a small ethernet switch inside a panel. The panel has a 24v DC supply, 6.5A output. There is a 3amp 600v circuit breaker on the 110 input to the supply. There are no other devices being powered by this power supply.

My question is, should I also install a fuse or circuit breaker on the 24v side before the switch? I will also be running a couple of other items off of the supply, around 1amp each. What is best practice here?

Thanks in advance.
