RM9600E-460 Radio Modem to Wonderware Archestra

Hi All.

The site has got an existing radio RM9600E-460 radio modem.
It has a RS232 and RS485 port.
But what is the protocol ?

Now I wanted to map all the signals to Ethernet Network.
But I am stuck at what kind of gateway I am suppose to use.
Modbus to Ethernet Gateway ?

The protocol depends on what is connected on each end of the radio modem. This is just the link method.
If the protocol is Modbus then Modbus TCP (Ethernet) would be appropriate.

So I’m a little confused as to what you are looking to do. The modems you have are a serial communications type modem and should pass any asynchronous serial data as long as the format matches what the radio will do and is configured for. The protocol will depend on what equipment is using the modems. What is connected to the other modem (or modems)?
