Rockwell ControlFlash failures

Anyone else having issues with ControlFlash or ControlFlashPlus? Neither of them work on my PC anymore. ControlFlashPlus gives a Failed to initialize flash process and stops. ControlFlash will allow me to import a .dmk file but the catalog never updates to show it is there. Win10 Pro 19042.1415, Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.3920.0
I spend 3 hours with Rockwell tech connect yesterday and got nowhere. I can flash with another laptop, so it isn't the CPU (1756-L71). When that worked, the tech connect agent said its probably my computer and he can't help. Any ideas?

Yes, along with several reboots and uninstall/reinstall cycles. Updated to the latest patch roll out. latest versions of each software as well.

If the PC has a rollback point (assuming it USED to work), I'd give that a go too.

At this point, I think i'm just going to create a VM and move my rockwell stuff onto it. I already have vm's for siemens, AD, linux, and schneider anyway. I use rockwell the most so I liked having it on the host, but issues like this makes the Vm worth it. I'll update if that gets the issue handled.

It might be the firewall blocking the flash program? I dont like flash plus because it forces you to use its own network browser. If you dont have the link setup in RSLinx first for this flash plus network browser it will not let you get to the processor. Big feature i do not like and can not switch to rslinx in flash plus. Oh well enough biching.

need details of CF & CFP version of the laptop.

Same versions on both computers.

I have 2 laptops, both fully updated win 10
Both have the same versions of CF and CFP
One works,, one doesn't.
They are very different machines, but they each have a full complement of rockwell software on them.

I've tried Ethernet and USB
I can communicate with them fine. The flash just fails immediately with the attached error.
When i try CF, then i have to import the .dmk file, which happens successfully, (according to the tool you use to import them) but then it never shows up as an option when i try to flash it.

I also tried to flash the EN2T, same result.

There is glitch w 33.013. I could not flash to 33.013.

Down flash to 32.0
then up flash to 33.012
no go w 33.013
