I have an issue with 1756-L62S (revision 20.13) safety lock.
We can't figure out who put safety lock on our project.
Before I try something, I want to discuss with some experts here.
I am going to factory reset 1756-L62S by procedure that Rockwell suggested:
To clear a ControlLogix processor memory and revert it to a default condition, simply remove the battery and power down for 5-10 seconds - in any order for 1756-L5x and 1756-L6x controllers series A. <---- I am not sure if resetting safety controller would have same procedures
And then, will download the same but unlocked project to it.
To sum up, I have two questions
1) if resetting safety controller would have same procedures as 1756-L6x
2) if I do factory reset, is controller's safety password going to be removed?
