rsview32 Graphic Loading Error

I have seen a strange error happen with rsview32 where all displays are displayed in default status even those that should be hidden at run time.

In checking the event log I see this "Graphic Editor Expression: Unable to register with RDM" as the only error.

Has anyone encountered this before?

Windows XP SP2
RSVIEW32 7.10
RSLINX 2.43
