Hello

how are you all? I have a problem with RTD pt100.I have CPU 315 with analog module SM331 AI 2*12bits how to program it for temperature??

Sorry PLC is from siemens CPU 315 I have install in our system.just to know how to program for RTD pt100 means for temperature control.??

Well, the temperature sensor you have doesn't have a 4-20ma or -10 to 10V output. It's an RTD, I believe you'll need a device in between to connect the RTD to, then the output of that will go to your analog input card.

Or, I believe Siemens sells RTD input modules.

Sorry again the temperature sensor have 4 to 20ma output i connect and call FC105 scaling module its working now but i can not see real temperature want to put Low limit 0 and high limit 80 degree how to set that values????
Thanks for your time all

I think your problem is that the PT100/4-20mA converter is set up for 0-100ºC (or something else), not 0-80ºC. You have two choices: the easiest, is to scale the program in the PLC from 0-100ºC or then you have to reprogram the PT100/4-20mA converter for a 0-80ºC. The converters can be reprogramed by dip switches, welded jumpers or by a special software.
