Hi, I am currently trying to test a repaired IP243 card before it is sent back to the plant.
I have a Siemens S5 test rig with a 115U CPU.
the IP243 is connected tn slot 0.
After failing to connect with a new Siemens PG I had to use a PG730 to connect to the S5 CPU.
According to documentation I can use FB 160 and FB 161 to control the IP243, but I dont have those blocks. the documentation also list information concerning communication without FB blocks and I have had a hard time understanding those.
Does anyone have a clue or maybe a small program for testing this card.
