S7-1200 to Pepperl EVS58-PN Encoder via PN

Hi,

I have a P+F EVS58-PN encoder attached to my S7-1200 in TIA Portal V15.

I have my GSD file installed and the device is setup in TIA portal, I can see it is configured and my S7 knows it is present.

What I am struggling with is how to access the data areas on the encoder. I've not configured a 3rd part PN device before on TIA portal and don't know the right terminology to start searching online.

Can somebody please point me in the right area for how to access the data storage areas on the encoder?

Did you configure Telegrams for the encoder and io addresses?

after that you can access the data from IO area
