Dear all,

Currently I have a task to study our s7-200 hardware configuration retrofitting to s7-1200 hardware.

s7-200 configuration:

  • CPU 224 CN AC/DC/Relay 14 Inputs/10 Relays (214-1BD23-0XB8)
  • EM 235 CN Analog Combination 4 Inputs/1 Output (235-0KD22-0XA8)
  • EM 231 CN EM 231 Analog Input Thermocouple, 4 Inputs (231-7PD22-0XA8)

What I want to do is to upload the logic from s7-200 and converted to s7-1200 equivalent hardware configuration and tested in PLCSIM TIA V13, is it possible to test the converted logic in PLCSIM without having the hardware ?

For example my equivalent configuration would be like this:

  • CPU 1214C AC/DC/Relay (6ES7214-1BG40-0XB0)
  • SM 1234 AI 4 x 13 bit / AQ 2 x 14 bit (6ES7234-4HE32-0XB0)
  • SM 1231 AI 4 x 16 bit TC (6ES7231-5QD32-0XB0)

Thank you
