Does anyone have experience using these things? Can't get it to work for the life of me.

I've used the Schneider cable to set the IP and I can connect to it via remote gateway using SoMove.

I've downloaded and added in the latest EDS/AOP for the LTMR.

RSLinx can see it and identify it. Says it's revision 1.001. Logix matches this revision, and the IP.

However, I can't get Logix to connect to the ethernet module. Just says major fault "unknown type 16#0320"

Rockwell software for Schneider motor starter?
Link to a manual, not sure if it's your model.

Link to an FAQ from se.com, https://www.se.com/ww/en/faqs/FA360268/ seems to indicate duplicate IP setup.

It's not uncommon to add Schneider drives/devices to Allen Bradley projects. We're an SI so we don't always get to choose.

It's just added to the project as an ethernet device and with it's EDS and AOP. We do this all the time with ATV 630's.

I'm familiar with this manual. It says nothing about integrating as an ethernet device.

The error you referenced indicates a duplicate IP, between the Tesys and the PLC/PC, unless I'm misreading your first post.

Those starters look interesting, might have to look into them further.

Does it respond to pings? You mentioned a remote gateway, Rockwell software (and probably other CIP) is known for NAT traversal problems.

"Remote gateway" is just the wording used on SoMove to connect to it using EIP.

It responds to ping, I can connect with SoMove, and get to it through the webserver. That's why I don't believe it's an IP conflict.

Hi, sorry for reviving this thread, but was this issue ever resolved? @AMarks95
Having the same exact problem at site right now and an issue would relieve me of much stress..

The buckets came wired incorrectly from Schneider. They sent someone out for rework and provided these updated drawings:

I was then able to get it working per the Ethernet manual for the TesysT - both the basic and advanced instances.

Only thing is, all our control wiring is hooked up to the Logic Inputs/Outputs. You would have to configure these inputs to behave/indicate the specific statuses if you want the info to come over on those specific bits. Otherwise, they'll just come over on the generic "Logic Input/Output Statuses" (68:01:08 and 68:01:09)
