Schneider M340 modules

Hi, I'm having trouble getting my modicon m340 BMXDDI6422K & BMXDDI3202K input modules to respond to inputs. Have I got the wiring correct? Its the plug- in type with two cables in one plug. cable 'B' has two +24v connections to pins 1 & 2 and also pins 11 and 12. The 'A' cable has two 0 volt connections to pins 1&2 and 11 & 12. I've addressed the inputs as EBools. The error message location shows "channel error". The +24v is present. The information for the pin-outs and colour codes of the wiring is from Schneider's data sheets. Can anyone help its part of a larger program with thermocouple inputs and analogue outputs which are all working fine. I've left the dig i/o till last thinking it would be the easiest! I'm now running behind schedule.

No, it is wrong.
DDI connection diagram on card datasheet is little bit misleading and have different pin numbers than on cable datasheet. You need to compare card datasheet to cable datasheet.

You need (on both cable ends) to connect +24 to white-gray and white-pink.
0VDC is connected to Gray-Brown and Pink-Brown.

DI0 is white, DI1 is brown etc.
A and B cable have similar connections A have first 16DI with power supply (+24 and 0VDC) and B last 16DI and power supply connections.
