Siemens 317T CPU

I just ordered a 317T processor using 611U servo's.
Has anyone out there used this??

Sorry, can't help with the "technlogy" version, but I'm working with a 317-2 DP and since we got it upgraded to a newer firmware version, I'm very happy with it. For a 300 CPU, still, more or less, 300 pricing, bags of memory + 400 speed, what more could you ask for!

Maybe somebody else has had experience of the newer "technology" versions of the 300 CPUs.

Nice

I've been using it for about a year with 3rd party drives and adi4 boards. It controls 6 axes - it's been great - hope that you are good at multi-instance otherwise it can get crazy with DB's. If you have more specific questions I would be happy to answer, but overall for me (a non-drive/motion person), it has been easy to achieve reliable consistent motion.
