Siemens Ethernet Messages to/from LIDAR

Can I open a Port from a Siemens PLC to an ethernet device

Device will be at 192.168.0.1 and I need to open port 2112 (Upd?)

Then once the port is open I need to send the following HEX

02 73 52 4E 20 4C 4D 44 73 63 61 6E 64 61 74 61 03

so that I can receive a response of also in HEX

there doesn't seem to be a field bus protocol

Sensor is a SICK TIM55x LIDAR.

It looks like it might be possible. By "Upd" did you mean UDP?
