Siemens MP277 - Backup and Restore from PSB and IMG Files

Hi All,

I currently have an damaged MP277-8" Touch panel (6AV6 643-OCB01-1AX1) which I am able to backup (.psb) via ProSave.

We are in the process of getting a 2nd hand MP277-8" Touch but I am unsure if I will be able to restore from the original .psb file.

We do not have access to the original project files just the HMI.
I am able to create an SD backup from the old HMI if that helps.

Image Version: V01.01.02.01_01.09
Bootloader Version: 1.06
Bootloader Rel.Date: 14.9.2011
Flashsize: 64MB
Windows CE: 5.0
Image version: B 1.1.2.1

Will I need to flash the correct image to the new MP277-8" Touch?
Or can I just restore the .psb file to it via ProSave?

If you did a Complete Backup in Prosave, then you don't need to do anything with the image. The image is part of the Prosave Complete Backup.

Just use Prosave to restore the panel from the .psb file
