Siemens MPI Network Between 2CPUS

Dear All,

I would like to try out MPI communication between 2 CPU. I have CPU315-2-DP and CPU314. I am new and start test-writing myself by seeing others post. Now i want to test it data exchange between PLCs. Kindly guide me. an example would be very helpful and thanks

For MPI, use X_PUT and X_GET from the standard library under System Function Blocks.
If the communication must be coordinated between the CPUs then use X_SEND and X_RCV.
Select either block and hit F1 to get help.

Another way to communicate between CPUs connected over the MPI network is to setup global data. In simatic manager highlight the MPI network then chose Options>Define global data
