In Simatic Manager Hardware Configuration, Profibus shows up its stations in a graphical view.

Is there a way to display the AS-i nodes in a graphical way?
Is there an add-in software that will?

I've dealt with S5 but S7 is further complicated. Why change S5's PB's to S7's FC's? Bloody awkward Germans; good engineers though.

Hello silva.foxx;

In the Hardware configurator of Step7, AS-i nodes are represented only as a collection of bytes; you have no way of representing them either graphically or symbolically.
Of course, in your HMI package you can animate a graphic presentation ofyour nodes. This is what we did in all our AS-i connected projects.
Hope this helps,
Daniel Chartier
