If I am addressing a device on PROFIBUS with I/O from 272-299, do I need to address it as IB 272 or PIB 272?
I can't remember off the top of my head and th guy I am helping is in a hurry.

Thanks in advance.

i think you are using an ET200M in that case you use the I/O as if it was on the central rack and use IB , no need to use PIB

It is actually a 300 series, but I think it is the same. As the PROFIBUS is connected to the central rack.
