Hello,

I am trying to figure out the most practical and low cost option for connecting a stand-alone SLC 5/03 Rack with a Panelview 600 MMI and spare slots, to an ethernet IP scada. Any suggestions would be very helpful and appreciated.

You could add a 1761-NET-ENI module to the SLC 5/03 serial port. Probably about $600

This would assume that the HMI is connected to the 5/03's DH-485 port and the serial port is free. If not it gets a little more complicated. You may need a 1747-DPS1/2 splitter and I'm not sure if it will work with a NET-ENI module; that would be a question for Allen Bradley.
