Hi,
I want to create a network to work with a GE 364 CPU and Allen Bradley 5/05.

Somebody knows how can I do it?

Can I send msg instructions to GE 364 CPU?

Regards!

If you want data exchange it very simple.
Get CSMSTRLE from Red Lion.
In 5 min they will "talk"
Download Crimson2.0 from Red Line web site, install it chose CSMSTRLE and on Ethernet driver see if you recognize the GE protocol.SLC505 work for sure I test it.
Need more help feel free to ask.

In general, it is very uncommon for logic controllers from competing brands to support direct Ethernet communications between them. If they do, it is very likely to involve a common protocol like Modbus/TCP.

In your case, none of the Ethernet protocols supported by your GE 90/30 series controller (EGD, SRTP, and maybe Modbus/TCP) are also natively supported by the Allen-Bradley SLC-5/05 (A-B CSP, EtherNet/IP).

You can choose a chassis-mounted module or a network gateway, but there is definitely going to need to be some other hardware involved.
