Timer/clock in Mitsubishi FX3G

Hello,

I've got a Mitsubishi FX3G PLC and HMI which I would like to use as a heating timer/clock.
Is it possible to switch the heater on say Mondays at 7a.m. and off at 4 p.m. using the PLC?
The only other idea is to have a standard timer (like the one on central heating) and use the output as an input to my PLC.

The FX3 has an RTC (real time clock) that you can set the time of, and use the data to operate outputs.
