In my new project i am using E + H magmeters Promag 10W50 for measuring water flowrate.

It has a 4-20 ma output (HART) which i will be using as analog input to my PLC.

Now flow rate can be read but i wish to use this flow rate m3/hr to be converted into a totaliser (m3).

The ultimate objective is to know the daily (24hrs) consumption (in m3).

Is it possible to do this within the PLC? If yes how?

The PLC is Modicon M340.

All ideas are appreciated.
