Update Simatic software??

Isn't it possible to update my simatic software (Step 7, wincc flexible and so on)???

What i am thinking of is a "live update", or what ever it is called.. And then donwload some updates that solves various errors or other things..

Yes, but it'll cost you. You can buy updates when you want to or pay per year to obtain all updates without asking for them every time. The price depends on the packages you want to keep updated.

Generally, Service Packs (SP's) and Hotfixes (HF's) and hardware catalog updates (HSP's) are free to download.

Version changes,
f.ex. STEP7 v5.3 --> v5.4,
or Flex 2007 --> Flex 2008,
requires you buy an update or a Software support contract (SUS).
