I agree with Gbradley,
If your boss is switched on, he will be onto it right away, since if it is an honest counting it will indicate either:
1, this shift has found a way of reducing rejects by a factor of 6, which is an excellent opportunity that should be pursued.
2, this shift is missing rejects, allowing them to escape into the market. This is bad for your companies reputation. Either way, a manager should investigate the cause of this discrepancy.
