Hey guys,

I got a RsLogix500 program in which I need to follow a signal but eventually it leads me to a instruction MOV where I move the signal to this type of datafile:

M0:1.3

I found it belongs to a module 1746-BAS-5/02

But I can't find how it comunicates with other devices or anything else.

thanks.

BAS is a BASIC module where you can download BASIC programs to.

M file is a block transfer file that allows transferring large volumes of variables to and from the module.

Good luck!

Personally never used it but I would recommend to start with the 1746-BAS-5/02 manual.
It will help you to understand the addressing.

Do you know what is it communicating with?
