Win xp sp3 with pktxd card

I have a fresh install of windows xp service pack 3 and have loaded line 2.54. I installed a pktxd card and drivers from the link disk and all is good till I try to configure the dh+ driver. I get failed due to security update 896358. How do I fix this? I'm shore I have had a fix this before but cannot find the fix for now.
