RS Logix and RS Linx Manuals

Hi, everyone !!

I'm going to develop an application for an SLC 5/03 PLC and I've tried to find manuals for the RSLinx and the RSLogix on the the internet - I,ve searched through the Allen Bradley and Rockwell Software sites, respectively - to no avail.

Can anyone lend me ahelping hand ?

RS is really Rockwell Software

All the programming software for Allen-Bradley these days is produced or marketed by Rockwell Software. RSLinx is the communications packet that you get with the RSLogix package you buy. I personally have not seen a manual just about RSLinx, but there may be one available somewhere. This address will let you pick any manual you like for the RSlogix products.

RSLinx is the communications packet that you get with the RSLogix package you buy. I personally have not seen a manual just about RSLinx, but there may be one available somewhere.

Maybe I should have said in my post that I had not ever looked for a manual on RSLinx. That would have been closer to the truth. RSLinx is part of what you buy, at least the RSLogix packages I have bought. The other point might be that I never saw the need to have a manual for RSLinx. It is easy enough to use and the help pull-downs that are with it are enough to get through most glitches. Good that you were able to ferret out that info for this guy, cause he probably has a need for it.
