I have Step 7 Versions V14 and V16 installed on my pc. V16 installation is set-up for Unified HMIs.
I have V17 ready to install but it's important I keep V14 and V16 on my PC for customer support purposes. However, there is an important Siemens notice supplied with the V17 disks that states:
"TIA portal project versions V13 SP1 to V16 are upgraded to project version V17 with TIA Portal V17".
Does this mean I will no longer have my instances of V14 and V16? Or does it mean my customer projects will be automatically updated V17?
If anyone has already done the migration to V17, I would be grateful for some clarification on this to understand if my earlier version instances are let alone or otherwise.
