Been mostly an IDEC guy lately, stumbled across the Schneider/Modicon M221 and everything is in the same exact position in both PLCs. Looks like the M221 came out in 2014 or earlier, which makes me think the FC6A is a rebrand, or that IDEC just copied the physical design...thoughts?

It is same hardware. IDEC produces Micro PLCs for Modicon for decades. Twido, Micro, M221 are all made in IDEC factory, but there is difference in programming software and firmware between Schneider and IDEC equivalent.
