bf and sf both flashing on im 151-1 interface module

Alohas everyone
I have a siemens interface module that causes our web press to go down. The interface module group fault and bus fault light both start flashing. The siemens manual doesn't give a description of this sequence on their cause and action list. Could this mean a bad module or profibus addressing prob? any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you used the diagnostics in step 7?

Hardware Diagnostics,Module Information(diagnostic buffer) from the menu PLC/Diagnostic setting in simatic manager.

This should help identify the problem.

Bad news. The official Siemens answer is:

Your question about the flashing code 3x SF and 8X BF.

Your modul(6ES7 151-1AA03-0AB0) is defect, you have to change it by the new 6ES7 151-1AA04-0AB0.

This flashing code is not listed in the manual.

Unofficial questions:
- Is your model an IM151-1 ver 3 or 4?
- Was your modul manufactured between 11/2003 and 07/2005?
- Does the modul's ser. no. start with S C-RN, C-RD, C-S1 ... C-S9, C-S0, C-SN, C-SD or C-T1 ... C-T7?

C-T1 I replaced the module with same model 1AA03 which is obsolete will look into new model thank you very much for the info. Alohas

A request to guide us

How can we know the manufacturing dates .
our all cards are having ser. no. start with C-S4.
What is to do to stop failure of these IM modules (6ES7 151-1AA03-0AB0)
We are trying to solve the problem your guideline can make it directional towards solution .

that module is not working in my system were 20 other DI/DO module connected with it but working ok with 5 DI/DO module what is the reason?

my IM module is (6ES7 151-1AA03-0AB0)
