Hi all,

I would like to know if anyone has any good advice for connecting a generic PT100 temp probe to a Siemens S7-300. I have read some posts on here that seem to suggest it is possible to connect to a standard analogue IO module. But I also know there are special modules for PT100.

I am pretty new to PLC and Siemens, sorry if my question is a bit stupid or if I missed out lots of info that is needed.
