GE RX3i Communication VS 90/30

Possibly an issue of backward compatibility. The 90-30 CPU341 is pretty old, and so the baseplate is probably equally old. I don't know what the difference is between an IC694PWRxxx and an IC693PWRxxx.
One thing you could check for is 5VDC between pins 5 and 7 on the 15-pin port on the power supply module. That's required to power the RS232/RS485 converter.
