Kinetix 300 unable read actual position

I am able to write on the drive but unable to read actual position. How can I program the messaging to read?? Pls Help!!

Greetings and welcome to the forum. Can you provide some more detail? Describe your h/w and s/w.

Oops I forgot it. RsLogix 500, AB Kinetix 300 servo and Micrologix 1400 Controller. I have only 3 sensors hardwired to it, home, pos and neg switch, the rest of the operation is via Ethernet.
