Hi everyone.

i am about to start a project using for the first time mitsubishi's MCWorks64. I read the documentation and it includes OPC server for communicating with modbus and bacnet (amongst others) what i don know is if i can make it "talk" with other OPC servers
matrikon, kepware, for AB or whatever.

read the docs but found nothing. tried to register to mitsubishi's tech forum but i need an invitation (?)

anyone here has experience with that scada using third party OPC servers?

thanks.

It seems MC works is not on the UK site so cannot ask the question maybe it's not out yet in UK, however I looked at some of the manuals on the global website and it does say that it complies with the OPC foundation, if this statement is true then it will be able to receive data from any OPC compliant system. I cannot imagine that it would not work with other OPC servers or they would be limiting their customer base but then again who knows.

Since it is a private label of Iconics Genisys 64 which can connect to other OPC DA and UA servers I would suspect that It should be able to connect to those servers as well. I looked it up and there are no restrictions or requirements listed that I could see.
