I am working with Phoenix Contact PLC and using Software PC Worx for programming.
Can someone please tell me
1) what is the difference between profibus dp and profibus pa
2) how to identify profibus pa and dp devices
3) how is data read from a field device to the software.


I know the basics of PLC but i have never worked on a profibus/profinet environmet. and i dont know how to start.
