The probem was resolved soon but I would like to know if anybody ever had this trouble or know what can be the cause of it.
An SLC500 (5/04) write message to an ControoLogix V18 through DH+ in 56.7 kbds. This is running corretly for one year. Last week, at the startup of production, the message was frozen in Enable state. It was never giving Done or Error.
On my experience, This only happend if somebody change manually the values of the bits of the MSG control (with SLC5/04 the control is an integer). So I tried to change the state of the done, error and enable bits but without success.
I wanted to put an false condition in the message rung, but when I edited it, I was very surprised to see the message working back.
Did you ever seen it or do you know what can cause it ?
Obs: The message really not worked: the CLX target was not receiving data. In an anther hand, an writing message from the CLX to the SLC was working good.
