Just out of curiosity does anyone know when rockwell software plans to start supporting vista/windows 7 on 64 bit systems.

Our company is talking about moving to windows 7 Q2 2010 if everything is running smooth with the new OS then.

I just wonder if rockwell is making any progress to supporting 64 bit systems?

Any rockwell guys?

I had RSLogix 5000, Linx Classic, FTView Studio, Server, and Client, and Linx Enterprise all running fine under the Windows 7 beta-build that expired two months ago, but only actually installed and ran them in an XP Virtual Machine.

Yes, the Win 7 build was 64 bit, the XPVM was running 32 bit. It's actually kind of nice, and I'm tossing around the thought of trying that for real in the future when Win 7 goes gold... Simply because it is Very Easy to install everything (except activations) once into a VM, and then just clone that VM to other boxes (or VM's) as needed. Do one stable installation, and everything after that is a blind copy of the VM and it's pseudo-HD.

Is anyone aware of any recent Rockwell Software security issues that require version upgrades to mitigate? I'm talking over the past 2 months.
