Hello,
I have a project originally done in slc with an older version of ifix. A new rendition has been made and the plc project was migrated to logix 5000, using a compactlogix controller.

It appears they used sql to do alot of the sequencing before. There are bits that become energized (or are supposed to) depending on which step a sql database dbo.sequencedata.

Mission control lists sql connection as good and I can read variables fine.

For instance row 1 in the table
sequence 1` step 1 step address b23[100].1,
b23[100].1 needs to be closed to examine the step conditions. How can I use sql to energize a bit in plc?

I am using industrial gateway server to communicate between ifix and compactlogix.

Any pointer in the right direction would help greatly.

Thanks
